VMC's Managing Director is Guest Lecturer at American University's School of Architecture & Engineering

The American University in Cairo's (AUC) School of Sciences and Engineering invited our Managing Director to guest-lecture on the subject of quantity surveyor and cost management.
The lecture was part of the undergraduate module ARCH-4421: Professional Practice, Design Management and Codes, and was delivered in two duplicate sessions, hosted by Dr Yasser Mahgoub, Professor of Architecture.
The aim of the lecture was introduce graduating seniors to the field of quantity surveying and cost management, provide a comparison of the American versus British approach to cost management. It touched upon the role of the Quantity Surveyor on site, provided an introduction to cost planning and project cost benchmarking, and explain basic concepts of building design economics.
