Village Gate Retail Building, by Palm Hills Developments
Village Gate is one of Palm Hills Development’s iconic developments, strategically located in the hub of New Cairo, next to the American University. Comprising residential apartments, villas and a mixed-use commercial building, the project is located on a 131,000m² plot of land.
VMC’s scope of service is assessing and valuing the commercial building which houses both retail units and office space, and is built on over 27,000m² of floor space. The building consists of a combined basement level below four buildings connected by bridges, each building made of a ground floor and two upper floors.
i-City, by Mountain View for Development and Real Estate
I-City is a mixed-use development in the heart of New Cairo which includes residential villages, an office park, a central community club, a school, several lagoons and network of promenades that all encourage healthy living. The development is spread over 2.1 million square metres (over 500 feddans) and is designed by the leading designers CallisonRTKL-DMA.
VMC’s scope of service is pre-contract cost management of the Club District and the Office Park, providing cost plan, pre-tender estimates and benchmarking and area analysis.
Fit-Out of Ten (10) Shops at Almaza City Centre, Heliopolis, Cairo
Azadea Group are an international franchise business, owning various brands in the Middle East and all over the world. With the opening of the flagship Almaza City Centre mall, Azadea have awarded VMC the cost management of the fit-out of ten shops in a challenging programme.
The shops include Zara, Paul, Massimo Dutti, Pull & Bear, Bershka, Oysho, Zara Home, Stradivarius, Punt Roma and Sunglass Hut.
VMC’s scope of service involved procurement and tendering advice, the assessment and valuation of the progress of fit-out with an overall tenant space of 6,800 m².
